Tracing Film

The Tandy Leather Tracing Film is a flexible layout tool used to accurately transfer designs onto leather before carving or tooling. It allows makers to trace patterns, then transfer clean guides onto damp leather for precise placement. Clear and easy to use, it helps improve accuracy, consistency, and confidence in projects like belts, wallets, holsters, and bags, making the design process more controlled and professional. Place on pattern and trace onto film with pencil. Place film on damp leather. Trace pattern with a stylus.
